For my final semester, I wanted to study the philosophy of designing space, and propose a new approach. This paper was produces as an independent study meant to dig deeper on what it means to be an environmental designer.

Main Street Redesign
Buffalo's Main Street is a wide street, facing many issues in pedestrian access. This assignment is a proposed redesign to improve both pedestrian and bicycle travel.

Site Analysis & Design Report
This assignment required the analysis and redesign of a vacant or underused lot in Buffalo. I had chosen a large parking lot as the focus of my study.

Corridor Retrofit Report
To learn the fundamentals of street design and corridor retrofits, this assignment required each student to analyze and suggest redesigns for five different corridors in Buffalo and Amherst NY.

Street Design Case Study
In an effort to redesign a portion of Buffalo's main street, I looked into similarly designed streets and studied what made them work.

Southside River Wellness Trail
I worked with Citizen Planning School as part of One Region Forward. I was given the opportunity to become a Student Advisor for a Buffalo resident - giving her what she needed to develop a trail around her neighborhood.

Sidewalk Redesign
As part of an effort to improve air quality in Buffalo, our team had created sidewalk redesigns to add greenery and outdoor seating to residents.

Streetscape Study
This was my first attempt at creating streetscape graphics. Each student was given a specific located in Buffalo to study. I was given Shea's Theatre, where I would analyze multiple features of this location - such as the surrounding streetscape.
