Master of Landscape Architecture
Master of Landscape Architecture
The second assignment involved redesigning a section of industrial land located in Brooklyn, NY. We were first tasked with illustrating its current conditions and then reimagining the site.
We were tasked with individually designing the landscape of the Elizabeth Cady Stanton home, who was one of the pioneers of the Women’s Rights Movement in the US.
As the first assignment in studio, this dealt with learning how scale can drastically alter a landscape. Our focus was a pile of rubble located on campus, and we were tasked with measuring it to create a detailed section of it in its existing condition, as well as sections of it if scaled up—what sorts of landscapes and experiences would this become?
