This was one of my final assignments with the Orange County Planning Department. I was given one simple task: create a landscape plan. I was allowed creativity with this assignment, like most other assignments I had completed with this department—something I am very grateful for.

I had decided to create a guide for homeowners of the County. I wanted to create an alternative for people looking to improve their lawns, going against the traditional “American lawn”. I had also made sure the design suggestions were relatively simple. I did not want residents to feel intimidated.
